Happy Golden Globe Sunday! In honor of tonight's festivities, I thought it would be fun to look back at Sarah's appearance at last year's Golden Globe Awards.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton on January 07, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California. This was a big night for Sarah because, not only did she have the opportunity to be a presenter, but she was also reunited with some of her Suits castmates while doing so - Gina Torres, Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams joined Sarah on stage, making it a night to remember and one that will be treasured by fans for years to come.

Sarah stunned with a Lanvin masterpiece that still remains one of my favorite looks to this day. The Embroidered Halterneck Charmeuse Gown in the desert sage green color featured a backless design with a high-low hem and a fishtail train. The ruffled hem detail of this luxurious dress' train, mixed with the pale grayish-green color, mimicked a surge of sea storm waves following the redheaded star around during the night; it was breathtaking. The dress was loose and enchanting - it manifested an aura of elegance while still sustaining a youthful and playful undertone.

Moving on to the shoes (one of two, because Sarah ended up changing into a different pair of sparkly, strappy heels before walking on stage and although I'm not 100% positive, my best guess for the brand of those are Stuart Weitzman), Sarah wore the Beige Follies Strass Pumps by Christian Louboutin. These shoes are frequently referred to as "real-life glass slippers" and you can probably see why. The mesh-crafted low vamp created an illusion of a transparent shoe and the hand-placed sparkly strass made up for the otherwise missing gleaming quality. The 100mm heel featured a classic stiletto design and leather detailing, complete with the label's signature lipstick-red bottoms.

Just as importantly, the statement ring - the Bague Coussin Cha Cha Cha Ring by Yvonne Léon - is the jewelry piece of my dreams. The 18 carat yellow gold ring featured concrete green glass in an emerald cut on a prong setting. The ends of the chain-linked tassles that adorned the glass stone were accented with round, grey diamonds that seamlessly complemented the strass on the heels and the metal embroidery details on the dress.

Some more details...

Sarah's earrings were from Joyeria Yanes and her clutch was Tyler Ellis.

To complete the captivating ensemble, Beau Nelson and David Stanwell tackled Sarah's hair and makeup, creating a golden and sunshiny palette that enhanced her auburn hair and warmer undertones beautifully.

Since this blog is dedicated to Sarah's style and fashion and considering how she's seemingly not attending the awards this year, I will not be blogging about it. However, I am still very excited to see all the looks that grace the red carpet tonight and how those looks influence trends moving forward. Happy (amateur) critiquing!
