Phew - what a year! 2024 was such a strong one for Sarah's style and personal expression. Perhaps I'm biased, since this is also my first full year in the fandom, but I think - objectively - her style has been on a whole different level this year and I'm excited to explore it further in this post.
January was a busy, busy start of the year for Sarah. The big events were the 81st Golden Globe Awards held on January 7, Cheryl Hines' Celebratory Lunch held on January 12 and MPTF's 17th Annual Evening Before Benefit held on January 13. Although I loved the outfit she wore to the Cheryl Hines event (always appreciate a good Sentaler coat moment), the other two outfits were obvious stand outs.
The 81st Golden Globe Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton on January 7, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California. Sarah reunited with her Suits cast-mates - Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres and Patrick J. Adams - to present one of the award categories. Sarah stunned wearing an ethereal dress that truly gave the impression that she was floating on a cloud while gliding across the red carpet; it was the epitome of authentic playfulness. The dress was the Embroidered Halterneck Charmeuse Gown in Desert Sage Green by Lanvin. The backless Lanvin masterpiece also featured a high-low hem, a fishtail train and a halterneck tie fastening detail. She paired the dress with the Beige Follies Strass Suede Pumps by Christian Louboutin and the iconic Green Crystal Cha Cha Cushion Fringe Ring by Yvonne Leon.
Moving on to the second event, Sarah joined a slew of stars that came together in West Hollywood at the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s 17th Annual Evening Before Benefit. The dual industry strikes pushed the event into this year and the focus of it was to raise funds to continue supporting MPTF's efforts in aiding the entertainment community.
Sarah wore a black suit from the Maison Rabih Kayrouz Spring Summer 2024 collection. The suit jacket featured a squared shaped design and an oversized fit with a plunging neckline. She paired the suit with jewelry from Simon G Jewelry, heels by Christian Louboutin and the Calfskin Daisey Box Clutch by Bottega Veneta.
February came in with a bang! Not only did Sarah attend the 2024 Netflix SAG Celebration but she, along with her Suits cast-mates Gina Torres and Rick Hoffman, starred in a Super Bowl commerical with e.l.f. Cosmetics. It was so fun getting to see Sarah reunite with more of her Suits family and obviously, a Super Bowl commercial seems like a dream opportunity for anyone.
At the SAG Celebration, Sarah wore the Tony Jumpsuit from the Greta Constantine Resort 2023 collection. I absolutely adored this look! The color was warm and rich and the sparkles gave it a beautifully playful energy. A real life 70s disco ball! (not just because of the sparkles but...did you see those flared legs?)
For the Super Bowl commercial, Sarah wore a dress whose cut reminded me so much of something her Suits character, Donna, would wear. The Maren Stretch-Crepe Midi Dress by Alex Perry featured a fitted silhouette, stretchy, mid-weight fabric, shoulder pads and a back split.
Lucky March! This month we had two of my top five favorite outfits from the entire year (more on that at the end). Unfortunately, Sarah never posted about one of them so it's entirely underrated but both, although vastly different, were stunning in their own rights.
On March 5, Sarah attended the TIME Women of the Year 2024 Gala, which was held at Ardor at the West Hollywood Edition in West Hollywood, California. The gala celebrated and recognized women across numerous fields. Sarah stunned with a green suit that fit the spring aesthetic perfectly. The suit was part of the Maison Rabih Kayrouz RTW Spring 2024 collection and not only featured the most gorgeous and vibrant color resembling a shade of Kelly Green, but the oversized jacket and the straight-leg pants offered a seamless balance between sophistication and fluidity, making it the perfect outfit to wear to an event focused on women's empowerment. It was strong and feminine, perfectly tailored yet asymmetrically playful. The built-in ribbon scarf detail added an aura of elegance, it helped break up the otherwise monochromatic look. It also drew your eyes to Sarah's upper body, creating the illusion of a longer vertical line which in turn, made her appear even taller than she is (again, metaphorically suitable for the event...get it? SUIT-able? Okay, I'll see myself out now).
She paired the suit with the Grey and Tan Postal Bag by Loewe, tying in the cream color from the scarf and adding some neutrality to the entire ensemble. I still haven't been able to identify her heels (help is always appreciated!) but her jewelry was Mateo.
Five days after the gala, on March 10, Sarah attended Elton John AIDS Foundation's 32nd Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party in West Hollywood, California. I looked for this outfit for the longest time until I finally gave up and asked Sarah for help. So, as I'll probably repeat a million times in this blog, thanks for your help, Sarah!
The beginning of the year was definitely a Maison Rabih Kayrouz heavy time for Sarah (not that I'm complaining...some of my favorite outfits this year ended up being MRK!). Sarah wore a black skirt from the Maison Rabih Kayrouz Fall Winter 2024 collection paired with a black turtleneck, long-sleeve top by Wolford. Everything about this look - from the grandness of the skirt to how her hair was styled - made Sarah look like a princess and I'll forever grief the fact that we didn't get more photos of this look from her on her social media.

Did anyone else practically scream when they noticed Sarah wearing Elie Saab again? Or was that just me? In my eyes, Elie Saab can do no wrong and this dress was no exception. It was stunning. From the elegant fit to the crystal trim jewel neckline, everything about the Long Keyhole Crystal-Trim Cady Dress was perfect. Sarah wore this Elie Saab to the 2024 Part the Cloud Gala which was held at a private residence in Woodside, California on April 19. Sarah emceed the event that ended up raising more than $17 million to fund cutting-edge Alzheimer's Disease research.
Started in 2012 by Michaela "Mikey" Hoag with Alzheimer's Association, Part the Cloud is a global movement to accelerate scientific progress in Alzheimer's Disease research.
Besides the crystal trim neckline and the keyhole front, the dress also featured zip cuffs, a sheath silhouette and a floor length thigh-high slit.
This was around the time we started seeing Sarah moving on from Maison Rabih Kayrouz to Dice Kayek - another win, in my book. Dice Kayek is known for its sophisficated, modern and feminine designs. They are always so clean and elegant, something you'll quickly notice as we make our way through the looks throughout the rest of the year. On May 21, Sarah attended The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation's 49th Annual Gracie Awards Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, California. She wore the Rose Embroidered Dress from the Dice Kayek Spring Summer 2024 collection.
Sarah paired the dress with the 14KT Gold, Amethyst and Diamonds Earrings and the East West Blue Topaz Ring, both by Mateo.
Halfway through the year and we are finally at my favorite 2024 outfit! This dress is what dreams are made of - I seriously have not stopped thinking about it since she wore it. In late June, Sarah headed to Malta to attend The Mediterrane Film Festival, where she presented an award. While in Malta, she also had some fun in the sun and she sure took advantage of that Mediterranean ambiance. The iconic orange dress that the fandom still talks about to this day was Costarellos - the Charmain Ruffled Plisse Gown from the Resort 2024 collection, to be exact. The dress was made of lightweight lurex georgette fabric and featured a sublte shimmer and a ruffled neckline. My favorite aspect of this dress, besides the stunning, lively color that complimented both Sarah's color palette and her physical surroundings perfectly, was how elegant yet ethereal it looked. Was the sun shining bright or was it just Sarah wearing this majestic dress? The world may never know.
Along with the Costarellos dress, Sarah wore the Blue Topaz Frame Earrings and Ring by Mateo. Besides the fact that orange and blue are complimentary colors, I can't think of a more ideal combination to epitomize a subtropical-Mediterranean climate such as the one in Malta.
The day before, on June 29, Sarah wore another Dice Kayek dress to the Mediterranean Sailing Grand Prix Festival Yacht Race Sunset Party held at Fort St. Angelo in Birgu, Malta. This time the Dice Kayek dress was white in color, yet again harmonizing with her surroundings perfectly. The almond green rose's style was a bit different than the rose we previously saw in May. This time, the rose detail looked more organic, and blended with the light and airy tones, the entire look was a chic and beautiful fit for the warmth that the atmosphere radiated. The fact that Sarah also seemed to be sun-kissed by this point definitely helped the lighter colors pop!

We're skipping July and jumping right into August when Sarah attended one of her friend's movie premiere, the Los Angeles premiere of Searchlight Pictures' The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat held at the Culver Theater in Culver City, California on August 23. This is not the first time Sarah wore Beaufille this year (she re-wore one of my favorite vest suits to a book celebration hosted by NBCUniversal in honor of Bonnie Hammer earlier in the year) and definitely not the last, but this was the first time one of her Beaufille looks actually made me gasp. The lacing details in all of the Pre-Fall 2024 collection pieces are a dream - they're so whimsical and delicate. I'm obsessed with the idea of wearing a suit, tradtionally considered men's formal wear in the Western world, and pairing it with something as dainty as lace, cultivating a formidable feminine silhouette. The light color also offers a touch of neutrality - both physically and metaphorically - which supports the same vision. The only issue I had with this particular outfit was the fit of the pants. I'm sure whoever tailored the outfit (if tailored at all) knew exactly what they were doing (and Beaufille tends to lean on oversized fits naturally) so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but the pants looked just a tad too oversized for my liking. The jacket already had a relaxed fit so the pants also having so much room to spare threw something off for me with the overall look. Can we talk about Sarah's hair though? I swear it looks better and better with each passing month.
SIDEBAR MONTH! September was the month Sidebar - A Suits Watch Podcast hosted by Sarah and Patrick - launched and, because of this, Sarah did a ton of press in a span of two back-to-back days towards the end of the month. Remember how I mentioned the last Beaufille outfit would not be the last this year? Well, just wait.
On Sidebar press day one, Sarah wore one of my personal favorite brands, Heidi Merrick - a California lifestyle brand created by Sarah's good friend, Heidi. I'm such a Heidi fangirl so anytime Sarah wears her, the outfit instantly becomes a favorite. For this day of press, Sarah not only wore the June Top in English Rose by Heidi Merrick, she also brought back Dice Kayek, now an obvious trend in Sarah's 2024 style journey. The corduroy jacket was from the Dice Kayek Pre-Fall 2024 collection and it was gorgeous. Not only does the corduroy material typically convey both warmth and softness due to its thick and cotton-based construction, but the wales naturally provide a comfortable texture. The color of the jacket, a soft true shade of brown, complimented the muted, almost vintage-inspired floral pattern of the Heidi Merrick top. The white Paul Green sneakers broke up the darker tones beautifully by pulling out some of the lightness from the white/cream flowers. The high-end top and jacket paired with Sarah's favorite pair of Mother Denim jeans (and the sneakers) brought a casualness to the entire look, giving off a comfortable and relatable appearance. On this day, Sarah did an Instagram live with Patrick and then sat down with Rick Glassman to film an episode of Rick's podcast - Take Your Shoes Off - and this was the perfect outfit for both of those events.
Sarah's makeup this day - specifically her lip combo - was all the talk amid the fandom. And rightfully so! The copper and neutral tones added a certain warmth to her complexion and, mixed with her auburn-toned (and perfectly styled) hair, it created the most lovely balance. She was glowing!
As provided by Sarah, her lip combo was:
Moving on to day two of Sidebar press - Sarah kicked up her Beaufille game by wearing the brand almost exclusively. On this day, Sarah was invited on The Spotlight by Jessica Shaw where she talked about all things Suits, Sidebar and My Life with the Walter Boys. She wore black slacks, the Audrey Cashmere Crewneck in Aqua by TWP, the Black Lace Coat from the Beaufille Pre-Fall 2024 collection and the same Paul Green white sneakers she wore on day one. Although the coat was undeniably the star of the show, by pairing it with the sneakers, it created a more relaxed and easy-going vibe.
On the same day, Sarah wore another Beaufille heavy outfit that I loved but because we haven't gotten any content with this outfit yet, I'm not exactly sure where/what she wore it to. She paired the same coat with the Lucienne Blouse and the Celeste Lace Trim Trouser, all from the Beaufille Pre-Fall 2024 collection. This outfit was elegant, timeless and polished. All the lace is to die for!
We finally made it to the outfit that has been all the rage throughout the fandom the last couple of months. And can you blame us?! THAT COLOR! We're closing out this year of iconic outfits with yet another Dice Kayek masterpiece. On October 28, Sarah and Patrick headed to NYC for a day of Sidebar press. While in NYC, they interviewed on The Today Show, stopped by the SiriusXM studio, visited their Times Square billboard and more. All throughout these events, Sarah dazzled in the Lilac Wide Leg Trousers, the Lilac Oversized Double-Breasted Blazer and a matching blouse and skinny scarf, all from the Dice Kayek Fall Winter 2024/2025 collection. She completed the monochromatic look with the Ixia 95 Velvet Pumps by Jimmy Choo.
I think it is assumed that purple doesn't look good on redheads but certain shades of purple, like lavender and plum, that have naturally blue undertones, always make the auburn tones pop because, as we already know, blue and orange are complementary colors. This look has quickly become a fan favorite and for good reason, it happens to be one of mine as well. The entire look was cohesive and with lilac being so big this year, it was a perfectly trendy and chic way to end a year of fashion wins.
Speaking of favorites, this is where the month-to-month analysis comes to an end (in terms of high end fashion, Sarah had a more laid back last couple of months) which means I now get to share my top five favorite looks from this year:

Look at that rainbow! From ethereal, flowy silhouettes to polished, influential ensembles, every one of these outfits made me audibly gasp. They will live on as looks that will continue to inspire myself and others. I absolutely cannot wait to see how Sarah's style continues to evolve and develop this next year. What was your favorite of Sarah's looks from 2024?
